Problems with displaying the color swatches in their Turbo theme in languages other than English

Do you use the Turbo Theme of Out of the Sandbox in your Shopify online store in a language other than English? Have you noticed that the color swatches are not displayed?

This will help you to solve the problem:

You need to make some minor adjustments to the theme code. Ex there are two relevant files that you need to modify:

• snippets/collection-swatch.liquid
• snippets/product-swatch.liquid

Search for the following line

{% if downcased_option contains 'colour' or downcased_option contains 'colour' %}

If your shop language is German, replace the line with

{% if downcased_option contains 'colour' or downcased_option contains 'colour' or downcased_option contains 'colour' %}

For other languages replace colour through 'Translation of color in the respective language'.
